BETWEEN US PRODUCTIONS STAFF

Jasmine Brown (Co-Artistic Director) is a writer, director, actor and producer. As one of the founding members of Between Us Productions, she has been producing theatre in NYC since 2012. Favorite original works include: Sweet Prince (Manhattan Repertory Theatre's Winterfest), Orion (Signature Theatre), Ben and Rick are Dating (original screenplay, winner of the Westfield Screenwriting Awards), Uprising (Co-written with Samantha Lee Manas for Between Us Productions) and Three Bites from the Underworld (Between Us Productions). Currently, Jasmine is in post production for My Parallel Life, a radio drama/podcast that she co-wrote/directed/produced and voiced a cameo in with comics writer Vera Greentea. Jasmine has a BFA in Dramatic Writing for SUNY Purchase, works in education during the day and spends most night binge watching TV with her husband, Rajiv.

Samantha Manas (Co-Artistic Director) has directed several plays in New York City including: Diaspora TX, Detainee, Marisol, The Fairer Sex, Parables for the One Percent, Measure for Measure, Sweet Prince, Bromance, Orion, Anyone Anywhere, Mokey Business, Scenes from Hamlet, Invasion of the Parasites, Starangers in the Night, Scenes from Sylvia, and many more. She is the winner of best director at the Underground Theater Festival and a two time nominee for best director at the Strawberry One Act Festival. She has also assistant directed with the Kaos Theater in England. She has written two plays that have had full productions: Uprising and Inalienable Rights. She has written three one act plays, which have had readings: Pushing 40, Stark Raving Mad, and Inalienable Rights. She is also a member of the sketch comedy team Sketchy, which she writes and directs for, and the improv team Inner Outer Circle. She received her BFA in stage management from SUNY Purchase College's Conservatory of Theater Arts and Film.

Graydon Gund (Associate Artistic Director) is a recent graduate of Skidmore College where he directed productions of Dustin Lance Black's 8 and Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years and Songs for a New World.  New York directing credits include Border Sweet Border (Bedlam Ensemble), Gastroenteritis on the F Train, and Alaska in the Summertime (Manhattan Rep/ Panoramic Theater).  Assisting credits include The Fig Leaves are Falling (UnsungMusicalsCo.) and FLIGHT18 (3LD).  Regionally Gund has staged production at the Williamstown Theater Festival and assisted at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge.
